Poem by Locus Sarania for Project Gaidin's Death Match week 3.

Listen all and you shall hear
of a story known both far and near
Seanchan came and the land was black
Upon the shores they staged attack

The Amyrlin sent word to her magical daughters
“To go find lost treasures of great mythical powers
Angreal, Sa’angreal were looted and taken
don’t let them fall into the hands of Forsaken”

Kariada Sedai was ready and willing
With her Warder, Marrow Gaidin, who was exceptional in killing,
They both have been summoned into the Blight
A strenuous task to be done in the name of the Light

The Gateway closed behind them with Marrow walking ahead
A dark and deadly land that looked of woe and full of dread
Although dangerous the Warder didn’t like to be grimy
He always kept his suit of armor nice and shiny

The Gaidin was wise and knew when to fight
A pack of Trollocs came and they were soon out of sight
for sneaky he had been, some would say a master of stealth
Lessons learned found it successful in maintaining good health

Avoiding danger they found refuge in a barren village
A would be town that Trollocs came to pillage
What luck to our heroes did they see
But a storage of Angreal in near by facility

They filled up their bags and Marrow would have been remiss
If he didn’t celebrate by stealing a kiss
The walls crashed in with a loud eruption
It seems the Trollocs were the cause of this interruption

Pissed as he was at the intrusion
Marrow Gaidin came to one conclusion
He took his axe and held it high
SOMEBODY HAD TO DIE.

The massive axe swung swiftly with grace so fine
Marrows conviction growing as his armor continued to shine
Although the Trollocs now were lifeless after the attack
Marrow Gaidin was thorough enough to “double tap”

Although to Marrow the battle was a thrill,
Kariada Sedai rolled her eyes at the excessive overkill
A Gateway she opened and the Warder takes the lead
And that’s a tale of Marrow Gaidin from M.D.D.
