Ackley Farren is a man who lives in Market Sheran, Andor.
One night, he got drunk and spent the night on the roof of the local inn.
One of the farmers who gives Rand and Mat a ride on their way to Caemlyn tells them that a crazy man at the inn in Market Sheran is claiming that there are Darkfriends there. The farmer laughs so hard he cries as he tells this to Rand and Mat, saying that it's the best story he has heard since Ackley Farren got drunk.
