Almizar is a largish prosperous town in Amadicia, a hundred miles southwest of Amador.  As with all Amadician towns other than Amador, it has no walls, but it does have six tall watchtowers around its edges.  The paved streets are lined with brick and stone buildings, mostly slate roofed, but some are thatch.  Many of these are three or four stories high.  It is surrounded by farms as far as the eye can see, with stone houses and thatched roofs.  Two men try to assassinate Perrin in the town and commit suicide when they fail.

As with all Amadician towns other than Amador, it has no walls, but it does have six tall watchtowers around its edges. The paved streets are lined with brick and stone buildings, mostly slate roofed, but some are thatch. Many of these are three or four stories high. It is surrounded by farms as far as the eye can see, with stone houses and thatched roofs. Two men try to assassinate Perrin in the town and commit suicide when they fail.
