Why did you choose Yellow?
To me, being Yellow embodies a love of people. It's all about compassion and being there for each other. That's always been a huge theme in my life and that's why Yellow felt like Home to me.
Are you like the Yellows in the Books? Do you care for people and love to heal things?
I think I am a little like the Book Yellows; like I mentioned above, compassion and a love of people have always been a theme in my life.
Do you have a favorite Yellow Ajah character from the novels?
I will always love Nyneave! I relate to her the most, except my temper isn't quite so hot.
How long have you been a fan of the Wheel of Time series?
Since about 2008.
How did you first get into the series?
It's all my brother's fault! He kept poking and prodding at me to read the books (and join this community). I finally relented and am glad I did!
Who is your favorite "hero"?
I can never pick a favorite! Perrin reminds me of my husband, Mat reminds me of my brother and Lan is just awesome... why choose? ;)
Favorite bad guy/gal?
Moghedien - If I were to go evil, I'd stay as behind-the-scenes as possible, too.
Favorite book and scene?
My favorite book is "The Great Hunt". "The Gathering Storm" chapter 39 was my favorite scene - SO moving. I think it was the only time I actually wept while reading the series. Major spoiler, though, so I'll just leave it at that.
If you were set down in Randland, who/what would you see yourself as? An Aes Sedai? Innkeeper? Seanchan Captain?
In all reality, I'd probably be a Wisdom in a small village somewhere. I love to think that I'd be Aes Sedai, however! ;)
How did you find TarValon.Net and what convinced you to stay and become Tower Sworn?
As mentioned above, my brother. What convinced me to stay were the people here. :)
What do you do in "real life"?
I'm a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in home health care. So, I go into someone's home Monday-Friday and give them basic care and do light housekeeping if it's needed. Otherwise, I spend time with them, play cards and board games or watch tv. It doesn't sound rough, but it's definitely emotionally stressful and some days are absolutely more challenging than others. ;)
Do you have any hobbies?
I sing, am learning to play guitar, write and crochet.
What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
All kinds! I'm open to anything that has a positive message (or is just plain fun!) and I love a good beat (but I really don't like techno :P figure that one out!)
What are some of your favorite movies / television shows?
For movies: Singing in the Rain; The Road to Singapore; Sleeping Beauty (Disney); The Outlaw Josey Wales; Pride and Prejudice (the A&E version w/ Colin Firth); that's just a few - I love movies! ;) For TV shows: NCIS; Dr. Who; Red Dwarf; Castle; Firefly; How I Met Your Mother.... there are more, I just can't think of them all. :P Looks like I watch a lot of tv, but I really don't! I swear!

"Shirley" by Charlotte Bronte; "Three Fates" by Nora Roberts; "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen; "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley; "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux; "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle
What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?
I wanted to be a teacher. I used to make my brother play house and teach him math and spelling. That's why he's so smaht! ;)
