Alviarin Freidhen: (White Ajah) plays a key role in Siuan's deposition and is therefore raised to Keeper of the Chronicles for Elaida. She is also the Head of the Black Ajah and a member of the Supreme Council. She is exposed following Verin's revelations and flees the White Tower. She survives that last battle and bonds Varil Nensen, only to be trapped with him and a group of other Dreadlords in a stedding. She is swan-necked , tall and slim.

Amico Nagoyin: (Yellow Ajah) is killed by Slayer in Tear. She is the youngest of the Black Ajah who left the Tower, only four years older than Egwene and Elayne, though this was changed in later editions of the books. She is killed by Slayer after being stilled and captured.

Asne Zeramene: (Green Ajah) is killed by a lightning bolt created by the circle of Sea Folk Windfinders during the rescue of Elayne. She has been of the Green Ajah for some hundred and thirty years and is from Saldaea. She has four Warders, one of them, Powl, being also a Darkfriend. She has dark, tilted eyes and a bold nose. She is killed by the Windinders while trying to take Elayne out of Caemlyn.

Atuan Larisett: (Yellow Ajah) has been exposed by Talene as Black Ajah. She is one who teaches in the White Tower. She is not bonded. She is a striking Taraboner with dark hair in thin, brightly beaded braids that hang to her waist.

Berylla Naron: (Blue Ajah) is lean almost to scrawniness and a fine manipulator. Her current location is unknown. She is exposed as one of the original thirteen who left the Tower with Liandrin.

Birlen Pena: (Ajah unknown) sides with the White Tower. She is exposed following Verin's revelations , but she fled before the executions.

Careane Fransi: (Green Ajah) was an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah for over fifty years. After the split in the White Tower, she joined the rebel Aes Sedai. She is bonded to Cieryl Arjuna, Venr Kosaan and Tavan. She is stabbed to death in Caemlyn by Vandene Namelle in revenge for her sister Adeleas' murder.

Chai Rugan: (Ajah unknown) sides with the White Tower. She is exposed following Verin's revelations , but she fled before the executions.

Chesmal Emry: (Yellow Ajah) is from Ghealdan. She kills Vandene. She is later captured in Caemlyn and is killed by Elayne when trying to escape .

Dagdara Finchey: (Yellow Ajah) is as wide and tall as most men, with gray hair and a round face. She sides with the Salidar Aes Sedai and is a good healer. She is now exposed following Verin's revelations.

Delana Mosalaine: (Gray Ajah) is former Sitter in the rebel Hall. She flees to avoid exposure and is killed by balefire in Natrin's Barrow.

Duhara Basaheen: (Red Ajah) is from Arad Doman. She is the Keeper of the Chronicles for Sierin Vayu and later a Sitter. She is sent by Elaida to Caemlyn to become Elayne's advisor, and remains there even though Elayne has rejected her. She was exposed following Verin's revelations and killed in the Last Battle.

Eldrith Jhondar: (Brown Ajah) is captured in Caemlyn. Her Warder is Kennit. She kills Marillin Gemalphin's cats. She is captured in Caemlyn and killed by Daved Hanlon while trying to escape.

Elza Penfell: (Green Ajah) is Andoran and is sworn to Rand al'Thor after she was captured by the Asha'man at Dumai's Wells. She is a pleasant-faced, handsome woman with brown eyes (WH, Ch. 13;. She has sworn fealty to Rand because she believes he must be at the Last Battle if the Dark One is to defeat him. She is finally balefired by Rand after having helped Semirhage to capture him.

Evanellein: (Gray Ajah) is a Sitter and sides with Elaida. She flees the Tower when Egwene returns and is killed in tel'aran'rhiod.

Falion Bhoda: (White Ajah) is Kandori and is captured in Caemlyn. She is long-faced, cold and has dark, glossy hair. She is exposed as one of the original thirteen who left the Tower with Liandrin and is killed in the Last Battle.

Fera: (White Ajah) is currently in Cairhien and her status as Black Ajah is unknown. She has sworn fealty to Rand al'Thor and is being held by the Wise Ones.

Galina Casban: (Red Ajah) is the former Head of the Red Ajah and a former Member of the Supreme Council of the Black, being second in command. She is exposed as Black Ajah by Talene. Galina is part of the group that kidnaps Rand. She escapes during the battle of Dumai's Wells but is later caught by the Shaido. She has to swear submission on an binding rod to Sevanna and Therava. She betrays Faile and tries to kill her, and then tries to escape the Shaido. However, Therava catches her, orders her to never try to escape again, and decides to take her back to the Aiel Waste. She is raven-haired, round-faced and has a plump, demanding mouth and hard eyes.

Ispan Shefar: (Blue Ajah) is assassinated by Careane Fransi to prevent Black Ajah secrets from being revealed. She wears her black hair in braids, marking her as a Taraboner. She has a delicate stomach. She is exposed as one of the original thirteen who left the Tower with Liandrin.

Jarna Malari: (Gray Ajah) has liquid brown eyes and long black hair with slashes of white at her temples. She is a Sitter, and the Head of the Black Ajah before Alviarin. She is killed by Ishamael for overstepping her boundaries and both having the Amyrlin killed and ordering the Dragon Reborn to be killed.

Jeaine Caide: (Green Ajah) is a slim woman, coppery-skinned and swan-necked. She is exposed as one of the original thirteen who left the Tower with Liandrin. She is killed by Thom while disguised as Cadsuane trying to enter the Pit of Doom.

Joiya Byir: (Gray Ajah) is killed by Slayer in Tear. She is old enough to be Egwene and Elayne's grandmother, with a friendly face, despite the smooth-cheeked calm of an Aes Sedai, dark hair and gray eyes.She is exposed as one of the original thirteen who left the Tower with Liandrin.

Karale Sanghir: (Gray Ajah) is exposed as Black Ajah by Atuan. She is from Arad Doman.

Katerine Alruddin: (Red Ajah) is a raven-haired, hard-eyed woman with a vulpine face. She helps capture Rand and beats him. She is captured by the Asha'man at Dumai's Wells , but escapes and returns to the White Tower. She is part of the group that captures Egwene at Southharbor, bringing her to the White Tower, and is later made Elaida's Mistress of Novices. She is exposed following Verin's revelations left the White Tower. She was killed when the Black Ajah attacked the Tower in Tel'aran'rhiod

Larissa Lyndel: (Yellow Ajah) is bony and plain. She sides with the rebel Aes Sedai. She is exposed following Verin's revelations.

Liandrin: (Red Ajah) is from Tarabon. She is young and pretty, with a doll's face and a small, petulant mouth. She attends the Darkfriend gathering near Shayol Ghul. Liandrin takes Nynaeve, Egwene, Elayne and Min through a Waygate , arriving in Toman Head, where she tries to turn them over to the Seanchan. She is exposed as the leader of the original thirteen until Moghedien takes control in Tanchico. She is currently a da'covale owned by High Lady Suroth and is out of action.

Marillin Gemalphin: (Brown Ajah) is from Caemlyn. She is fond of cats and goes out of her way to help injured animals. She is captured in Caemlyn during the failed attempt to capture Elayne but later escapes.

Marris Thornhill: (Brown Ajah) is from Andor. She has no Warder. She is exposed as Black Ajah by Atuan. She is described as plump.

Melvara: (Ajah unknown) sides with the White Tower. She is exposed following Verin's revelations.

Merean Redhill: (Blue Ajah) is Mistress of Novices for Tamra Ospenya. She is tall with a motherly look and hair that is more gray than not. She is killed by Moiraine in self-defense.

Mestra: (Unknown Ajah) a woman who fled the tower when Egwene returned and is killed in tel'aran'rhiod

Miyasi: (White Ajah) is tall and plump with iron-gray hair, strong arms and a stern expression. She sides with the White Tower and helps keeping watch over Leane. She is exposed following Verin's revelations.

Moria Karentanis: (Blue Ajah) is an ordinary-looking Illianer. She is a Sitter for the rebel Aes Sedai. She is exposed following Verin's revelations and Egwene has her executed.

Nacelle Kayama: (Green Ajah) is Malkieri and sides with the rebel Aes Sedai. She has discovered a weave to detect men channeling. She is exposed following Verin's revelations.

Nalaene Forell: (Ajah unknown) sides with the White Tower. She is exposed following Verin's revelations, but she had earlier left the Tower either as part of Elaida's embassy to Rand or as one of those following Toveine to the the Black Tower.

Nesita: (Red Ajah) is plump and blue-eyed. She is one of Egwene's guard in the White Tower. She is exposed following Verin's revelations.

Notori: One of the Black sisters who attacks Egwene's group in Tel'aran'rhiod for Mesaana and is killed by Nynaeve with a blast of fire.

Ramola: One of the Black sisters who is involved in Mesaana's strike on the Tower in Tel'aran'rhiod.

Rianna Andomeran: (White Ajah) is from Kandor. Moghedien assigns Rianna her task in Tanchico which she accepts impassively and her current location is unknown. She has black hair with a stark white streak above her left ear that frames a face that is cold with arrogant certainty. She is exposed as one of the original thirteen who left the Tower with Liandrin.She survives the last Battle only to be trapped in a stedding with a group of other dreadlords.

Sedore Dajenna: (Yellow Ajah) sides with the White Tower and is a Sitter. She is very arrogant. She is exposed following Verin's revelations and vanishes from the Tower.

Sheriam Bayanar: (Blue Ajah) is from Saldaea. She is plump with red hair, pale green eyes and a warm smile. Her warder is Arinvar. She is Mistress of novices for Siuan and later Keeper for Egwene in Salidar. She is tortured by Aran'gar because the information she passes on is unsatisfying. She is exposed following Verin's revelations and Egwene has her executed.

Talene Minly: (Green Ajah) is a Sitter in the White Tower. She is revealed as Black Ajah by Doesine, Pevara, Saerin, Seaine and Yukiri when they force her to re-swear the three oaths. She claims that Elaida is also Black Ajah. Talene receives an order to appear before the Supreme Council, so Saerin hides her in a lower basement of the White Tower. She is golden-haired, statuesque and lovely.

Talva: (Yellow Ajah): Killed in the attack on tel'aran'rhiod

Temaile Kinderode: (Gray Ajah) is from Cairhien. She is one of the Black Ajah that torments Amathera. After seeing what she did to Liandrin following Moghedien's orders, the others Black sisters are frightened of her. She is captured in Caemlyn after the failed capture of Elayne and killed while later trying to escape.

Velina Behar: (White Ajah) is Saldaean. She is a Sitter for the White Tower and a member of Elaida's inner council. She is very self-possessed. She is exposed following Verin's revelations.

Verin Mathwin: (Brown Ajah) is from Far Madding. She is plump and has gray hair. She was forced to join the Black Ajah 70 years ago, but used it to collect informations, among those a detailed Verin's list of Black Ajah members|list of Black Ajah members. She also does her best to help Rand, Perrin and Mat on several occasions. Her warder, Tomas, is a Darkfriend too but shares her fight against the Dark. She killed herself by drinking poison in order to be able to reveal her secrets to Egwene. Her affiliation as Black Ajah remains hidden except to Egwene.

Zanica: (Ajah unknown) sides with the White Tower and helps capture Leane at Northharbor. She is exposed following Verin's revelations.
