General

A blademaster is a person judged to be a master swordsman, and is entitled to a heron-mark sword. There are two ways a person in the Westlands can be judged a blademaster. The first, is if five blademasters unanimously judge him worthy. The second, is for someone to kill another blademaster, one on one in single combat. It is not known if the title is gained the same way in Seanchan.
