Caban is a low-ranking Seanchan soldier; he has dark eyes, scars above his eyes and on his chin and he is in his middle years. When Bayle Domon's ship is captured by Egeanin, she puts Caban on his ship to make sure that he sails to Falme so Domon can swear the oaths.
