Caban is a low-ranking [[Seanchan]] soldier; he has dark eyes, scars above his eyes and on his chin and he is in his middle years. When [[Bayle Domon]]'s ship is captured by [[Egeanin]], she puts Caban on his ship to make sure that he sails to [[Falme]] so Domon can swear the oaths.
