We were up in the mountains and it had been snowing for several hours, and since it was late in the evening most attendees had been drinking and were unable to drive. Only Caerwyn Jolan was able to safely transport the patient down to the emergency center, and did so without complaint even though he left the party and missed almost the whole evening. He sacrificed his vacation to save one of our members, and I fear if he would not have been there the story could have become tragic. |
