Charlin was a young Da'shain Aiel who lived shortly after the Breaking. He was Nerrine's son and brother to Alijha and Colline. He looked almost like Alijha, though he had a habit of tilting his head when troubled.

Charlin and his friends rescued Lewin's sister Maigran and Alijha's and his sister Colline from the hands of four villains. He died during the defense of Lewin's life.
