At the 2007 Admin Meeting, the decision was made to split the Department of Membership Services into two new departments, one overseeing the online duties of the department, and one overseeing the offline duties. The Department of Community Development was created to oversee the online duties including message board activities, freeweeks, and community building.

The Online Services Area was led by Maddie Vitalia. The Online Events Coordinator position was held by Ilissa al'Nari. The department put on several online events during this year, including Bel Tine, Shaoman, Sunday, and Feast of Lights.

The Mistress of Games position was split into two new positions, Radio Programmer and Chat Activities Coordinator. Another new position, Visual Resources Lead, was also created.
