Ebram is the son of a Domani merchant; he is now one of Graendal's servants. He is tall, young, and well-made, with dark eyes. Graendal thinks to herself that he would have made a nice addition to her collection of pets if he had held a higher rank.
He informs Graendal that Rodel Ituralde has arrived, kneeling as he does so; his eyes are shining with adoration for her. When Graendal assumes the facade of Lady Basene in order to meet Ituralde, Ebram offers her his arm to escort her. Even though he knows that Graendal is beneath the Illusion, the reverence on his face fades slightly; it is Graendal, and not Basene, whom he worships.
