General
Efalin is the leader of the Shaido Far Dareis Mai. She has short graying hair and gray eyes (ACoS, Prologue).
Timeline
- She stays with some Maidens around Sevanna until she orders every spear to attack on the Aes Sedai at Dumai's Wells (ACoS, Prologue).
- She and the other Maidens claim to have heard Galina admitting she had killed Desaine (ACoS, Ch. 40).
- After Sevanna and the Wise Ones question a Seanchan soldier, she orders Efalin to have him buried deeply (TPoD, Ch. 11).
- She leads the group of Shaido who capture Faile and the others to make them gai'shain for Sevanna (TPoD, Ch. 30).
Miscellaneous
- She suspects no one will be sent to Rhuidean to become the new clan chief of the Shaido in the foreseeable future (ACoS, Prologue).
- Although Efalin is not of the Jumai sept, she accompanies Sevanna as long as she speaks as the clan chief (TPoD, Ch. 11).
