Elle is a young woman from Watch Hill in the Two Rivers (LoC, Ch. 11).

She is tall, pretty, and fair-haired for the Two Rivers. She wears her hair in a braid, showing that she is considered old enough to marry (LoC, Ch. 11).

Elle has the ability to channel; the spark is inborn within her, so she will eventually begin to channel whether or not she is trained in the White Tower (LoC, Ch. 11).

She is one of the young women that Alanna and Verin take out of the Two Rivers to bring to the White Tower. When Rand leaves Culain's Hound, the inn where they are staying, after badly frightening the girls with the news that he is the Dragon Reborn, Elle begins to wail at the top of her lungs. Alanna and Verin make the girls go to their rooms, and they have tea with honey and brandy sent to them to help calm them down (LoC, Ch. 11).

Elle and the other Two Rivers girls arrive in the rebel Aes Sedai camp (TPoD, Ch. 30).
