Thom references Elsbet as the Queen of All who warred with Mosk the Giant when he first arrives in Emond's Field and entices the Emond's Fielders to come listen to him at the Bel Tine festivities (TEotW, Ch. 3). When he and Elayne talk about old stories on the way to Tanchico, he wonders aloud if Elsbet was really the queen of the world, and if Anla was really her sister (TSR, Ch. 20).
