The Aes Sedai from the Wheel of Time series that I find myself most looking up to is the legendary Green sister, Cadsuane Melaidhrin. She is a symbol of great strength and determination for me, and strives to achieve what is right, rather than what is expected. As an Aes Sedai, she has caught and stilled many men most of whom have survived longer than many other men who have been brought to the Tower by other sisters, and is rumored to have kidnapped and held captive Kings and Queens to further the Towers causes, and for the benefit of the rest of the World. Feats such as those are an inspiration to me, as it shows that she is not only ready and willing to fight for justice, she is also strong-willed, blunt, and very sure of herself, all of which are qualities that I admire and hope to find within myself.
Cadsuane is suspected to be the oldest living Aes Sedai, and is a legend in her own right. Capable, stubborn, strong-willed, and bold are all words to describe her. She is undoubtedly a remarkable character, despite having appeared in the books only recently. As an Aes Sedai, I will continue to look up to her, and strive to be as capable and sure of myself as she is, in everything I do. I am not afraid of hard work, when it gets me to where I need to be, and I will keep giving my all for as long as I can. I would be proud to serve as Aes Sedai for this Tower here at TarValon.net.
