Gearan was a young Da'shain Aiel who lived shortly after the Breaking.

He was lanky, and was the best runner among the Aiel's wagons.

Gearan and his friends rescued Lewin's sister Maigran and Charlin's and Alijah's sister Colline from the hands of four villains.

During the attempt they kill the men to protect themselves, yet their families abandon them for it when they bring the freed sisters back, because it is incompatible with the Way of the Leaf the Da'shain Aiel are living after.
