Aleshin Talvaen: A nobleman. He is a member of the Crown High Council.

Alliandre Maritha Kigarin: The Queen of Ghealdan. Her full title is Alliandre Maritha Kigarin, Queen of Ghealdan, Blessed of the Light, Defender of Garen’s Wall. She has sworn fealty to Perrin Aybara.

Areina Nermasiv: A Hunter for the Horn of Valere. She is the sister of Gwil Nermasiv. Areina ends up in Salidar, though she eventually runs away to the White Tower with Nicola Treehill.

Baelome: A noblewoman.

Banas: A widower from Jarra. He is remarried to Widow Jorath.

Beron Goerad: A merchant. He is married to Teresia, who was Queen of Ghealdan for a short time until her forced marriage to Goerad required her to abdicate the throne.

Cariandre: An Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, and therefore aligned with Elaida’s Aes Sedai.

Chesmal Emry: An Aes Sedai of the Yellow and Black Ajahs. She is one of the Black sisters who leaves the Tower with Liandrin. She was killed by Elayne trying to escape custody.

Ellizelle: The Queen of Ghealdan for a brief period of time before she died in a hunting accident; it is probable that the Prophet had her killed.

Gerard Arganda: Queen Alliandre’s First Captain. He accompanies Alliandre when she joins Perrin and goes with Perrin to the Field of Merilor.

Gwil Nermasiv: A Hunter for the Horn of Valere. He is Areina Nermasiv’s brother.

Harod, Master: A man who lives in Jarra. He owns the inn Harilin’s Leap.

Hyran: One of the Dragonsworn. He was engaged to Nicola Treehill, but died.

Jaril: A young boy from Samara. His brother is Seve. Moghedien, as Marigan, uses the brothers as a disguise, claiming to be their mother. They end up in Salidar.

Johanin: The King of Ghealdan for a brief period of time before he supposedly died in a hunting accident; it is probable that the Prophet had him killed.

Jon: A man from Jarra. He is a blacksmith. He is married to Rilith.

Jorath, Widow: A woman from Jarra. She is remarried to Banas.

Kireyin: An officer. He accompanies Alliandre when she joins Perrin.

Logain Ablar: A minor nobleman who has the ability to channel. He proclaims himself the Dragon Reborn, and is eventually captured and gentled by the White Tower. He is later Healed by Nynaeve and joins the Black Tower. He has forcibly bonded two Aes Sedai, Gabrelle and Toveine Gazal. He is loyal to Rand.

Nico: A boy who lives in Jarra. He works at the inn, Harilin’s Leap.

Nicola Treehill: A woman from Ghealdan who has the ability to channel. She becomes a novice with the rebel Aes Sedai, though she eventually runs away to the White Tower in the hopes of learning at a faster pace. She has the ability to Foretell the future. She was killed in Tel'aran'rhiod

Noam: A man from Jarra. He is a Wolfbrother who has mentally turned into a wolf. He was kept locked up until Perrin set him free. He is Simion’s brother. Perrin learns he intentionally gave up his humanity.

Patrim: A boy who lives in Jarra. He works at the inn, Harilin’s Leap.

Rilith: A woman from Jarra. She is married to Jon.

Roon, Mother: A woman from Jarra. She is an herbalist.

Seve: A young boy from Samara. His brother is Jaril. Moghedien, as Marigan, uses the brothers as a disguise, claiming to be their mother. They end up in Salidar.

Simion: A man from Jarra. He works at the inn Harilin’s Leap. His brother is Noam.

Telabin: A nobleman. He is the lord of Bethal.

Teresia: The Queen of Ghealdan for a brief period of time before she marries a commoner, Beron Goerad, and must abdicate the throne. She was likely forced to do this by the Prophet.

Tzigan Sokorin: A minor noblewoman. She was a Hunter for the Horn of Valere before becoming one of Elayne’s Queen’s Guards.
