As you've seen over the last couple months, the Executives and Officers of TarValon.Net have each been writing about their favorite book in THE WHEEL OF TIME and what each book reveals about the city of Tar Valon and the people who make up the White Tower. This blog series, called The Road to A Memory of Light, is part of our celebration of the final volume of THE WHEEL OF TIME, due to be published early in 2013. I was lucky enough to be approached a couple months ago by a publicist at Macmillan Audio to give away one copy of each published volume of THE WHEEL OF TIME in conjunction with this blog series, and the time has come for the first installment!
The audio books that will be up for grabs this time are: NEW SPRING, THE EYE OF THE WORLD and THE GREAT HUNT. This first giveaway is open to anyone and everyone who can send an email!
HOW TO ENTER: To enter our drawing, you simply need to send an email to: giveaway@tarvalon.net and put in the subject line: "The Road to A MEMORY OF LIGHT Giveaway #1." In the body of the email, please include your full name and a brief sentence talking about which book in the series is your favorite and why. We will accept all emails received through April 18, 2012. Winners will be notified by email on the 19th, followed by the big announcement on the 20th. We will ask for your mailing address upon notification of winning. You will only receive notification if you are a winner, due to the anticipated high number of entries. You may only enter once! This drawing is open to individuals all over the world; you do not have to be a United States resident to enter.
If your name isn't drawn this time, keep an eye out over this year for further contests! Some will be open to registered TarValon.Net users and members only, but there will be at least one other open to all of WoT fandom. I want to say thank you again to Macmillan Audio for their generosity in this giveaway. I am excited to work with them!
