Hamarea was one of the nations of the Free Era. It was located in the northwestern part of the Westlands. To the north was Rhamdashar, with Ileande to the southwest, Tova to the south and the Spine of the World to the east. Eventually, this area of land became what is now unclaimed land south of Shienar.
Hamarea was one of the most powerful nations of the Free Era.
By FY 963, Hamarea had fallen to Hawkwing.
