Healthy Hummus

Note: no real measuring! Pick as much/little as you like...

1 can chickpeas
tahini
cumin
chili powder
lemon juice
one garlic clove

Rinse and drain chick peas and dump in a blender Add about half a can of water (this is about 2 C of chickpeas and about 1 C water. Actually, I wouldn't use that much water to start out with. Just add enough until they can blend easily without being runny) Add about 2 Tablesppons of tahini 1-2 Tblsp lemon juice mince garlic or grind it with mortar and pestle with some salt (I leave out the salt) Add the cumin and chili powder to taste Eat with some wheat things, pita, celery...whatever! Play with the lemon juic, tahini, cumin, and chili powder amounts until it tastes right, and you can add more garlic if you're a garlic lover. Enjoy!
