Helping Hands was a system for helping others in non-emergency situations. It was an ongoing thing, and not specifically tied to any time of the year or event. It has now been discontined.

Examples of Helping Hands include: fundraiser for furniture purchase after everything was lost in a flood, assisting a person in relocating after leaving an abusive situation, food and clothing assistance.

  • Note that these are gifts, with the emphasis being on needed goods, rather than a loan of money.

Nominations and applications to be considered for Helping Hands are accepted by the Director of Community Outreach.
