Joneth Dowtry is a man from the Two Rivers who is recruited to the Black Tower by Mazrim Taim. He is the most skilful soldier amongst the Two Rivers Men (ToM, Ch. 46).
Timeline
- He has not been raised, despite being as strong as any Dedicated (AMoL, Ch. 3).
- When Welyn returns to claim Logain and Taim have patched up their differences, he is openly doubtful and questions Welyn on it. He only stops when Lind distracts him (AMoL, Ch. 3).
- During the attempt to rescue Logain, he kills Coteren with a bow and arrow (AMoL, Ch. 4).
- Logain promises to raise him to full Asha'man but he stays at the Black Tower even though he could be claimed by an Aes Sedai (AMoL, Ch. 21).
- Theodrin starts following him around and Heals him after they escape Demandred (AMoL, Ch. 37).
- He disguises himself as a non descript Darkfriend when they go to try and steal back the Seals.
- When Logain leaves to find Sakarnen, he goes with Androl and stop the Darkfriend Asha'man from destroying the Dragons (AMoL, Ch. 41).
