General

Lerian is an Aiel Far Dareis Mai who shortly appeared in "Lord of Chaos". She is a lean, sandy-haired woman about Faile's age. She takes Perrin and Faile to Rand, after they have arrived at the Royal Palace in Caemlyn (LoC, Ch. 5). After Rand allows the Maidens to guard him again, she disagrees with Surial about whether he should be beaten again (TGS, Ch. 11). After this, she stays with Rand and guards Min in his absence (ToM, Ch. 12).

Quote

"He is a child and when a child touches something dangerous the child is beaten" (The Gathering Storm, Chapter 11).
