Lyncon was a carpenter from Cairhien who was captured by the Shaido and made Gai'shain. He'd had most of his spirit beaten out of him, but Perrin considered him capable of doing a good job once it was pointed out to him. He accompanies Perrin and the other refugees as they head north.
