General
Maira is a Far Dareis Mai of the Serai sept of the Tomanelle Aiel. She is red-haired and about ten years older than Rand (TFoH, Ch. 23).
Timeline
- Although she is not directly mentioned at the time, she guards Rand's tent with eleven other Maidens (TFoH, Ch. 21). She and the others join the fighting against the Shadowspawn and Darkfriends at night. This leaves Rand unprotected to the Draghkar attack (TFoH, Ch. 22).
