Manual of Style/Article Layout

From Tar Valon Library
Jump to: navigation, search

The TarValon.Net Library houses articles which give information about the Wheel of Time book and television series. Because of the differences between those two mediums, the articles and their contents have different layouts and section titles.

The following is a short guide with several article layouts. When copying the examples below, each list item of the main list should be written as a heading of level two in the actual article, and each item of the nested lists should be a heading of level three under its corresponding heading of level two. In some cases, some sections might be redundant, because of lack of information on the subject, or there might be need of an extra section in case there is additional information. In those cases, the editor's or writer's discretion should be enough. However, it is advised that no two sections have the same title to avoid confusing table of contents and wrong linking.

There might be other article layouts that could be added here in the future, so consult with the list on a regular basis.
