Midean's Ford

Midean's Ford was the site of a battle between Safer and Manetheren sometime before the Trolloc Wars (four to five hundred years at the most, as none of Mat's memories were earlier than that). The Saferi, under Aedomon, had attacked without warning, advancing until Buiryn had gathered Manetheren's forces and met them at Midean's Ford, where they fought for three days. The battle is commemorated in a song, “Midean's Ford”, though the song suggests that Aedomon let the last of the Manetheren men leave, which was not actually the case.
