The Mirror of Mists is the name Lews Therin gives to a weave that Aes Sedai can use to make themselves seem much larger than they really are (LoC, Ch. 49). When Demira and the others go to tell Rand that they will no longer accept his restrictions, they spin it on themselves, impressing him somewhat until he shatters it with a weave of spirit earth and air, almost as if shielding (LoC, Ch. 49). Moiraine also uses it, when leaving Baerlon, to intimidate the Whitecloaks (TEotW, Ch. 17).
