General
Mutch is a wiry Andoran stableman who works at The Stag and Lion inn in Baerlon (TEotW, Ch. 13).
Rand is suspicious of Mutch and thinks he will tell the first person to ask when Rand and company left the inn and where they are headed (TEotW, Ch. 17).
Timeline
- When Moiraine's group enter the stableyard of the Stag and Lion, Mutch shouts at them to go around the front. Master Fitch then appears and tells him it is alright, because they are guests he expected. He orders Mutch to take good care of their horses, which the stableman sullenly does along with two of his helpers (TEotW, Ch. 13).
