Namene is a novice of the White Tower.

Namene is from Arad Doman. She is tall and slim, and giggles incessantly. Egwene thinks that she cannot be more than fifteen or sixteen years old.

As a prisoner in the Tower, many of the novices and Accepted come to respect Egwene and ask her for advice. One day, Egwene overhears Nicola talking with two other novices, Marah and Namene; apparently, they have questions that they want answers to, because Nicola tells them to ask Egwene. Namene giggles nervously and wriggles, saying that she wouldn't want to bother Egwene.
