Narvin works in the Tarasin Palace in Ebou Dar. He is stout, gray-haired, and is a servant of high rank.
Mat is certain that Narvin was responsible for the first attempt at moving Pips from the stable, to keep him from escaping Tylin.
When Thom stops Mat in the hallway to tell him that the gholam has killed again, Mat looks around to see if anyone is trying to listen in, and sees Narvin. Narvin blinks when he sees Mat looking around, and frowns. In return, Mat smiles disarmingly and Narvin walks away scowling.
