Norlesh

Norlesh is one of the Aiel Aviendha sees in her visions of the future in the glass columns ter'angreal in Rhuidean. In the vision her husband Metalan is conversing with outlanders trying to get them to buy the rocks they have traveled to obtain because they have ore in them. Meanwhile she holds her infant son Garlvan and her daughter Meise holds on to her skirt. They had lost three children in eighteen months. Their family is starving and has no food. After the outlanders refuse to trade with them because the Raven Empress forbids trade with Aiel she goes to feed Garlvan and finds out he is not breathing and that he is dead.(ToM, Ch. 48)
