to the Tune of "Whisky in the Jar" by Thin Lizzy

As I was going over some tall and pointed mountains.
I met with a sul'dam, Farrell, and her damane she was countin'.
First I drew my angreal and then warded her rapier,
saying, "Stand and deliver for I am the unleasher."

Well shirigim duraham da.
Look for a lady oh, look for a laddie, oh.
There's oosquai in the jar.

She offered me money,
more than a pretty penny.
But I just sat down to pick the lock.
'Round the one they now called Jenny.
She sighed and swore she loved me and never would deceive me.
But the Dark One's in her heart I fear,
for it never can be easy.

Well shirigim duraham da
Look for a lady oh, look for a laddie, oh.
There's oosquai in the jar.

I went into my wagon, all for to take a slumber.
To dream of gold and boys, and of course it was no wonder.
For Jenny took my Jornden and replaced it with "Potter",
Called on sul'dam Farrell to get ready for the slaughter.

Next morning, early before I rose to Travel,
There came a band of Seanchan, and likewise sul'dam Farrell.
I went to draw on saidar, for she'd stole away my angreal,
but a prisoner I was taken.
For I have no strength in water.
(Spoken: Never anger a Seanchan in the ocean; or anyplace where
there's room for a boxy boat.)

Well shirigim duraham da.
Look for a lady oh, look for a laddie, oh.
There's oosquai in the jar.

If there's any who can aid me, it's the Mother and her army.
I don't know where she's sent them, to Andor or in Tear
Together we'd go roving over to the Tower of the Aes Sedai.
I think I had better end here before my verses are too many.

Well shirigim duraham da.
Look for a lady oh, look for a laddie,oh.
There's oosquai in the jar.

There's some that take delight in the planting and selling,
Some take delight in the libraries and the knong.
But I take delight in kaf.
Courting pretty ladies in the morning oh so early.

Well shirigim duraham da.
Look for a lady oh, look for a laddie, oh.
There's oosquai in the jar

Well shirigim duraham da.
Look for a lady oh, look for a laddie, oh.
There's oosquai in the jar
