Unless stated otherwise, all information herein is taken from A Memory of Light, Prologue.
Sandip is a lieutenant in the Band of the Red Hand who was involved the the defence of Caemlyn. He is slender, tan-skinned, dark-haired, and affable.
He advises Talmanes against entering Caemlyn. Once they are in the city, he takes control of the western gate. He is also a hedge-doctor.
He later goes with Faile and the Horn of Valere and helps defend against a beast from the blight (AMoL, Ch. 35).
