Sea Folk Character List

Aiden: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She is one of only three living Aes Sedai from the Sea Folk and is weak in the One Power. She works in the Tower library.

Amel: The husband of Zaida din Parede Blackwing.

Barit Chavana: A man who works as an acrobat in Valan Luca's circus. He has dark skin and there are Sea Folk tattoos on his hands.

Baroc: Master of the Blades to Nesta din Reas Two Moons. He is killed for rebellion by the Seanchan.

Caire din Gelyn Running Wave: A clan Windfinder. She is the Windfinder to Wavemistress Pelanna. She is the mother of Talaan and the sister of Tebreille. She is one of the women to help activate the Bowl of the Winds. She accompanies Elayne to Caemlyn, but later leaves with Zaida.

Cemeille din Selaan Long Eyes: Shipmistress of the ship Wind Racer. She visits Tremalking and sees the dead Amayar.

Chanelle din Seran White Shark: One of the Windfinders who accompany Elayne to Caemlyn. She is in charge of the Windfinders left with Elayne.

Coine din Jubai Wild Winds: Sailmistress of the ship Wavedancer. She is the sister of Jorin and the wife of Toram. She takes Elayne and Nynaeve on her ship to Tanchico.

Derah din Selaan Rising Wave: Sailmistress of the ship White Spray. She is present when the Atha’an Miere make the Bargain with Rand.

Dorele: A crewmember on the ship Wavedancer.

Dorile din Eiran Long Feather: Windfinder for Clan Somarin and the ship Windrunner. She accompanies Elayne to Caemlyn, but later leaves with Zaida.

Ehvon: A Windfinder.

Harine din Togara Two Winds: The Wavemistress of Clan Shodein. She makes the Bargain with Rand, but because the Bargain is considered to be inadequate, she is punished, but is later chosen as the Sea Folk ambassador to the Dragon reborn Min has had a viewing that she will one day be the Mistress of the Ships.

Jadein: Harine din Togara’s deckmistress.

Jorin din Jubai White Wing: Windfinder of the ship Wavedancer. She is the sister of Coine.

Kurin: A Windfinder. She accompanies Elayne to Caemlyn.

Lacine: One of the First Twelve Wavemistresses.

Lincora: One of the First Twelve Wavemistresses.

Malin din Toral Breaking Wave: The Wavemistress of Clan Somarin and the Sailmistress of the ship Windrunner.

Mareil: One of the First Twelve Wavemistresses. Tebreille din Gelyn South Wind is her Windfinder.

Metarra din Junalle: An apprentice Windfinder. She accompanies Elayne to Caemlyn but later leaves with Zaida.

Milis den Shalada Three Stars: A Sailmistress who was forced to wait in Bandar Eban when not allowed to unload her cargo

Mishael: The husband of Shalon din Togara Morning Tide.

Moad: Harine din Togara’s Swordmaster.

Naime: A Windfinder. She accompanies Elayne to Caemlyn.

Nesta din Reas Two Moons: The former Mistress of the Ships. She is killed for rebellion by the Seanchan.

Nestelle din Sakura South Star: A Windfinder. She is captured and made damane by the Seanchan. Mat frees her. Following her release, she goes on to free other Windfinders in an attempt to escape and take back their ships.

Niolle: One of the First Twelve Wavemistresses.

Nyein: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She is one of only three living Aes Sedai from the Sea Folk and is weak in the One Power. She works in the Tower library.

Pelanna: One of the First Twelve Wavemistresses. Her Windfinder is Caire din Gelyn Running Wave.

Raab: A man of the Atha’an Miere. He dices with Mat in Tar Valon.

Rainyn: A Windfinder. She accompanies Elayne to Caemlyn.

Renaile din Calon Blue Star: Windfinder to Nesta din Reas Two Moons, the Mistress of the Ships. After Nesta’s execution, Renaile is demoted, as is tradition. She is now Chanelle’s secretary but is at the meeting in Tel'aran'rhiod when Egwene proposes an alliance.

Rysael: A Windfinder. She accompanies Elayne to Caemlyn.

Senine din Ryal: Windfinder to the Mistress of the Ships who preceded Nesta din Reas. After her Mistress of the Ships dies, she is demoted. She accompanies Elayne to Caemlyn.

Serile: Turane’s Windfinder.

Shalon din Togara Morning Tide: Windfinder to Clain Shodein. She is Harine’s sister.

Shielyn: Zaida din Parede’s Windfinder. She at the meeting in Tel'aran'rhiod where Egwene proposes an alliance

Talaan din Gelyn: An apprentice Windfinder. She runs away to join the White Tower with Merilille Ceandevin. She is the daughter of Caire din Gelyn Running Wave.

Taval din Chanai Nine Gulls: Windfinder of the ship White Spray. She is present when the Bargain is made with Rand.

Tebreille din Gelyn South Wind: A clan windfinder; she is Mareil’s Windfinder. She is Caire din Gelyn Running Wave’s sister. She accompanies Elayne to Andor, but later leaves with Zaida.

Toram: Cargomaster of the ship Wavedancer. He is married to Coine.

Turane: A Sailmistress. Serile is her Windfinder.

Urin din Jubai Soaring Gull: A historical character; the creator of the Farede calendar.

Wallein: One of the First Twelve Wavemistresses.

Zaida din Parede Blackwing: The current Mistress of the Ships. She spends the Last Battle in the Valley of Thakan'dar, overseeing the windfinders using the Bowl of the Winds

Zemaille: An Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She is one of only three living Aes Sedai from the Sea Folk and is weak in the One Power. She works in the Tower library.

Zushi: A Windfinder. She is captured and made damane by the Seanchan. Her real name is unknown.
