General

Shalon din Togara Morning Tide is a Sea Folk Windfinder to Clan Shodein. She is Harine's sister, pretty and young looking, with eight earrings (ACoS, Ch. 34).

Miscellaneous

Relationships

Her sister, Harine is clan Wavemistress (WH, Ch. 13). She is much older than Harine and was charged with raising her along with her own child (WH, Ch. 23). They are close, but are very conscious of their different ranks and have not been particularly friendly since before Harine was made sailmistress (WH, Ch. 24).

Her husband isMishael (WH, Ch. 23).

She has a brief relationship with Ailil Riatin (WH, Ch. 13).

Timeline

Quotes

Shalon wanted to learn whatever she could about him, and about the situation here. That led to meetings, which led to friendship, which led to them becoming pillow friends. As much from loneliness as anything else, I suspect. In any case, that was what they were hiding more than their mutual snooping (Verin, Winter's Heart, Chapter 13)

Anyone could tell his rank at a glance, from his eight earrings of the heaviest weight and the knotting of his sash, even if he was not wearing his sword and matching dagger. Did Aes Sedai have no way to do the same? Could they truly be so disorganized? (Winter's Heart, Chapter 23)
