The Spine of the World, also known as the Dragonwall, is a long mountain range running along eastern edge of the [[main continent]], separating it from the [[Aiel Waste]]. General

The Spine of the World, also known as the Dragonwall, is a long mountain range running along eastern edge of the main continent, separating it from the Aiel Waste. In the Age of Legends, it was most likely a coast line since remains of what is apparently a port can be seen high in the Jangai Pass (TFoH, Ch. 20).

Passes

Four passes run through it, Tarwin's Gap close to the Mountains of Dhoom in the Blight, the Niamh Passes in southern Shienar, the Jangai Pass in Cairhien, just south of Kinslayer's Dagger and a final one in Haddon Mirk, leading to Stedding Shangtai (TWoRJTWoT, Ch. 15).

Stedding

In addition to Shangtai, there are eleven other stedding in the Spine of the World plus one in Kinslayer's Dagger (LoC, Ch. 20).
