The Light of Truth is one of two inns in Sienda. The sign is of a flaring golden sun. It is a pleasant inn, with high-beamed ceilings and dark polished paneling. The common room has two large fireplaces. It has a private dining room. Mistress Jharen is the innkeeper.
Elayne and Nynaeve spend a night there, pretending to be a lady and her maid. Since the custom from The King's Lancer is also in the inn, there is no room for Thom and Juilin who must bed down in the stable. As Elayne and Nynaeve have breakfast in the common room the next morning, Galad approaches them. They leave quickly after.
