Egwene deals with some matters in the camp. Sheriam is beaten by someone who is not happy with her not finding out what Egwene is up to.
Summary
Egwene's Point of View:
Setting: Murandy, close to the border with Andor
Egwene convenes the Hall to tell them they are stopping a few days. She receives papers detailing their shortage of money and the Sitters plans to deal with it.
Aran'gar's Point of View:
Setting: Murandy, close to the border with Andor
Characters: Aran'gar
Aran'gar hides a corpse, possibly Selame.
Egwene's Point of View:
Setting: Murandy, close to the border with Andor
Characters: Egwene, Romanda, Lelaine, Siuan
Lelaine and Romanda both come to see Egwene and argue with each other about the Bowl of the Winds having being used. Siuan gives her reports of Selame going missing and soldiers moving out of the Borderlands. She tells Egwene that she thinks there is a pattern in the ages of the new Sitters in Salidar - they are too young but she doesn't know why. Lelaine and Romanda return, having learned of a noble encampment in their way and each demand to be given control of the discussions.
Sheriam's Point of View:
Setting: Murandy, close to the border with Andor
Characters: Sheriam
Sheriam returns to her tent, where she is beaten by an unknown character for not revealing to her what Egwene is up to.
