The Wagon Seat is a red-roofed inn in Lugard. It bears a sign with an explicit interpretation of the name.
Gareth Bryne meets Joni and Barim in the inn. They were asking questions in the town about Siuan and the other girls. He thinks the singer, in her revealing blouse, would have found a husband in short order in any soldiers' camp.
