Tiedra is a woman who lives in the city of Cairhien. She is the innkeeper of The Great Tree (TGH, Ch. 31).

She is slightly plump and has an unctuous manner. Her eyes are sharp and she has an air of listening to what is behind the words you speak (TGH, Ch. 31).

At her inn, she charges heavily, but she does not stint on things like candles in the rooms (TGH, Ch. 33).

When Verin, Rand and company arrive at The Great Tree, she welcomes Verin warmly, and seems to know her. Rand is certain that she knows that Verin is Aes Sedai, but she doesn't say a word (TGH, Ch. 31).

Verin tells the others that if she lets it slip to Tiedra that she would like to see Barthanes' new manor, she should have an invitation in a day or two (TGH, Ch. 31).
