Tormon is a merchant from Illian. According to Dyelin, he is solid and reliable, and is not given to flights of fancy or jumping at shadows.
Dyelin tells Elayne that Tormon, who has just come from New Braem, has given her news that there is an army in New Braem. He saw Arafellin, Kandori and Shienarans, in different places. There are tens of thousands of them together.
