“The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave birth to it comes again”

The Wheel can be thought of as a seven spoked cosmic loom, set in place by the Creator and spinning eternally, driven by the Source, weaving the fabric of lives and events into the Great Pattern. Each spoke, represents one of the seven ages and each time the wheel turns fully, an Age will repeat itself. With each passing, the fabric of an Age changes, to an increasingly greater degree, the design predetermined by the wheel and only partially amenable to change by those who live though it. the only forces outside the Wheel and the Pattern, are the Creator, the Dark One and the True Source.
