Beron Goerad is a rich Ghealdanin merchant.
When Teresia, the then Queen of Ghealdan, is defeated in battle by Masema's forces, Beron is dragged from his bed by a score of Alliandre's retainers, hauled to the Jheda Palace, and forced to marry Teresia early in the morning. By marrying a commoner, Teresia was forced to give up the throne of Ghealdan, allowing Alliandre to be crowned that same morning. Beron and Teresia currently live at his country estate.
