• Why did you choose Yellow?

I really connected with the ladies in the Ajah, even before I was a Novice. As I advanced through the Tower, it just made sense. As soon as I guested there, I knew that it was home. There was no sense looking anywhere else.

• Are you like the Yellows in the Books? Do you care for people and love to heal things?

I think so. I like to think I'm flamboyant! lol Seriously, I do care for people and I love to make things better. It's why I'm in Nursing school.

• Do you have a favorite Yellow Ajah character from the novels?

Nynaeve, for sure. I see a lot of myself in her. She's very passionate and caring, and will kick some ass when someone she loves is in danger.

• How long have you been a fan of the Wheel of Time series?

About three years.

• How did you first get into the series?

It was recommended to me by someone I knew.

• Who is your favorite "hero"?

But ... I have three! Nynaeve, Moiraine, and Mat.

• Favorite bad guy/gal?

I really like Lanfear. She was just so unapologetic and totally out for herself.

• Favorite book and scene?

The Shadow Rising is my favorite. My favorite scene has to be Mat's letter to Elayne. It still makes me laugh.

• If you were set down in Randland, who/what would you see yourself as? An Aes Sedai? Innkeeper? Seanchan Captain?

I would totally be Aes Sedai.

• How did you find TarValon.Net and what convinced you to stay and become a Senior Member?

The person who got me into the books also introduced me to the site. The camaraderie I found is what convinced me to stay.

• What do you do in "real life"?

I'm a stay-at-home mom and Nursing student.

• Do you have any hobbies?

I don't have a lot of time for hobbies, but I do enjoy crocheting and needlepoint, sewing, reading (obviously), playing video games, and watching movies.

• What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?

Just about everything. I like music, so it has to be pretty bad for me to not enjoy it at least a little.

• What are some of your favorite movies / television shows?

Movies: Star Wars, LotR, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, most Adam Sandler movies, most Will Ferrell movies. Television: The Big Bang Theory, Doctor Who, and Breaking Bad.

• Aside from The Wheel of Time, what are a few of your favorite books/series?

The Dragonlance books by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the Lord of the Rings books.

• What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?

I wanted to be a ballerina.
