- Why did you choose Blue?
As the song goes, it's "a little bit of everything, all rolled into one". ;)
- Beside the obvious "it felt like home" answer, I really deeply identify with being a "Seeker after a Cause" - championing something using whatever talents and resources we're blessed with, whether it's a social cause, a belief, or simply standing up in defense of those we love - and that's a really beautiful thing.
- Are you like the Blues in the books? Do you plot and manipulate? Do you travel a lot?
I certainly wouldn't call myself manipulative, but I've been known to orchestrate a plot now and again. I love the idea of travelling and wish I had the money to do so more often. :p
- Do you have a favorite Blue Ajah character from the novels?
Siuan was my favorite. I always thought of Moiraine as being quintessentially Blue, but I adore Siuan for her rough edges.
- How long have you been a fan of the Wheel of Time series?
Since I was about 19 or 20, I think.
- How did you first get into the series?
A friend of mine had been pestering me to get into it since we were in high school. Considering the series has been going for over twenty years, I guess I'm a bit of a late bloomer. :p
