The Wheel weaves as The Wheel wills

In September of 2019, filming began for the long awaited series we all know and love, The Wheel of Time. Naturally rumor mills began on who could be playing our beloved characters; and as the cast list was released the common question for most was, “Who’s that?” This series of articles will go a little more in depth to help you, the reader, get to know the filmography and acting style of these actors and actresses a little better. Some are more known, but there are a handful who are veritable dark horses in the screen scene.

The Cast

Starting with the initial cast, I plan to write articles regularly for the following: Josha Stradowski (Rand al'Thor); Barney Harris (Matrim Cauthon); Marcus Rutherford (Perrin Aybara); Madeleine Madden (Egwene al'Vere); Zoë Robins (Nynaeve al'Meara); Rosamund Pike (Moiraine Damodred); Daniel Henney (al'Lan Mandragoran); Alexandre Willaume (Thom Merrilin); and Johann Myers (Padan Fain). I am fully aware that I have left out a sizable portion of very influential characters, but this is just a launching point for my articles. Once this initial list is complete, I will add more based on relevance to the plot and chronological inclusion in the story.

Small Hopes Can Grow Surprising Fruit

I want to thank you, dear readers, for taking the time to read my introduction; and hopefully I will make a series worth investing more of your time. Together we will explore these amazing peoples’ careers and get to know them even better. I for one am very excited to see how well the cast performs, and I know most of you are as well.
