Aldin was a bookkeeper from Amadicia before he was taken gai'shain by the Shaido. He is tall and young with square shoulder and looks more like a soldier than a bookkeeper.
He refuses to accept the fact that Arrela does not want to marry him.
After Alliandre, Arrela, Faile, Lacile and Maighdin are rescued from Galina's trap, Aldin hands Arrela a waterbag and carries Maighdin when she collapses.
