Baerin is an Aiel woman who was a Maiden of the Spear before she married. She now has a daughter training to be a Wise One.

When Mera claims that a chief should be handled the same way as a husband, Baerin replies with a laugh, saying that that would be a good way to have a roofmistress lay her knife at your feet and declare a feud.
